Leading the selection and deployment of the Cloud HR solution at Arriva


Client & Situation

As one of the largest providers of passenger transport in Europe, Arriva employs more than 60,000 people and delivers more than 2.2 billion passenger journeys across 14 European countries each year. Their entire back office systems required replacement and improvement from Business Case through to implementation.

Actions & Response

Veran was asked to produce and validate a business case for the deployment of Financials, Procurement and HR 

  1. Produce the original financial Business Case for Financials, Procurement and HR

  2. Support with the design and management of programme governance for the HR programme

  3. Complete the selection process for HR Cloud Software and work with the selected configuration partner to ensure a successful programme

  4. Programme Manage and deliver the first wave HR Cloud deployment for all countries and territories and upskill internal resources to manage wave 2 and 3

  5. Support the business in the transition to new processes and procedures

  • One global solution for all 14 countries

  • Delivery of wave 1 and ongoing support provided for further waves
