Overview:

Veran is helping one of our clients to recruit the talent they need for their HR transformation project. This is an internal permanent role which could be based in London or ideally the North East, depending on the candidate. As a HR Transformation consultancy, Veran has been working with our client to deliver their Transformation programme. We are now looking for the right talent to join their growing team and support with the next stage of this exciting project, and then continue to grow with the company.

The Role:

As an Associate Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to learn a huge range of skills from experienced Consultants working on a range of HR Change programmes in different companies and industries. The role is perfect for an ambitious and fast-learning graduate who wants to learn how to manage projects, gain business and stakeholder buy in, select and implement cloud-based technology in complex organisations, manage change, and create cultures of high performance.

You’ll be given the opportunity to try a number of different roles and focus on developing the skills that you enjoy and are good at. Plus your progression within Veran will be fast if you show initiative. You will have autonomy straight away and the ability to have a huge impact on the success of a programme.

Direct Responsibilities:

  • Consulting on a range of HR transformation projects and trying out different roles including project management, HR process design, HR data analysis and visualisation, business change, software testing, solution architecture, HR strategy, company culture and selection and implementation of cloud-based HR technology
  • Creating long-lasting relationships with our clients and network of well-known businesses and inspiring HR professionals
  • Supporting our Sales and Marketing events and playing a role in the continuing growth and development of Veran as a company

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • 1 -2 years’ experience as a data analyst on HR systems implementations
  • Understanding of HR Management Information requirements (ideally including Training type data)
  • Expert Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s and graphical reporting
  • Ideally some experience of data modelling
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Planning and Organisation skills

Essential:

  • A 2:1 or above from a globally recognised University or Business School.
  • Great communicator who can easily rapport with people at all levels of their career.
  • Commercially astute and have a good understanding of how a business works and of the importance of the HR function.
  • Energetic, hungry to learn, and keen to try new things and not someone who wants to be restricted to a narrow job description.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Able to travel in the UK and Europe
